The biggest influence on my art is my environment.  I have a love for the beauty of nature and raw moments in time.  The biggest challenge is trying to capture the specific and right moment I want; but this challenge is also the best part about making art.  I like being challenged because it makes me strive for a better more creative image than the last.  While I create, I try to make the viewer see a new perspective; I force myself through a new perspective as well. 

     I try to push the boundaries of color and shapes; my painting work recently reflects high contrast colors, depicted from paintings of my own horse photography.  While my photography has recently reflects documentary themes as well as abstract photography.  

     I've recently expanded interest into documenting my art therapy process art that I've made in grad school as well in the beginnings of my art therapy career. I've also recently expanded interest in earth art and art making with environmental  conservation themes.
